The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) has announced winners of the 11th Annual NVTC Hot Ticket Awards, honoring the region’s best and brightest entrepreneurial technology companies.
More than 500 members of the Northern Virginia technology community celebrated the nominated companies this week at the home of NVTC President and CEO Bobbie Kilberg.
The awards program was emceed by Katherine Ferguson of “Smoking Hot Sponsor” Cooley LLP and Sara Zeller of “Smoking Hot Sponsor” Argy Wiltse & Robinson. The judges for the 2012 Hot Ticket Awards included: Jonathan Aberman of Amplifier Ventures, Michael Dering, Kevin Greene of Valhalla Partners, Nick Lantuh, Gene Riechers, Mark Spoto of Razor’s Edge Ventures and April Young of Hercules Technology.
Nominations were collected for eight categories: Hottest Bootstrap, Hottest Buzz, Hottest Company Culture, Hottest Emerging Government Contractor, Hottest Exit, Hottest Management Team, Hottest Startup and Hottest Venture Capital Deal. The finalists and winners in each category are as follows:
