President Obama will participate in a town hall discussion on jobs and the economy with LinkedIn, a business-related social networking site, the White House announced.

The discussion, titled “Putting America Back to Work: LinkedIn Presents a Town Hall with President Obama,” will take place at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, Calif. on Sept. 26.

The president will speak in front of a live audience of LinkedIn employees and members. LinkedIn users can submit questions on the social networking site.

The discussion will be President Obama’s latest effort to connect with the American public through social media events. He participated in a Twitter town hall in July and a Facebook town hall in April.
