Private sector developers aren’t the only ones introducing new and useful applications for mobile devices. Federal agencies are also introducing mobile apps aimed at providing specialized services to the public.

  • USA.gov from General Services Administration
  • Science 360 for iPad created by National Science Foundation
  • from the Library of Congress
  • Mediline Plus Mobile Web from National Institutes of Health/National Library of Medicine
  • MyDS app from the Office of Dietary Supplements at NIH
  • Product Recalls App from Consumer Product Safety Commission, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Food and Drug Administration, and Department of Agriculture
