13th SOA for E-Government Conference

McLean, VA At MITRE McLean campus, MITRE 1 Auditorium

Registration is open for MITRE and the Federal Government SOA Community of Practice’s 13th SOA conference at MITRE’s McLean campus on Tuesday, April 3, 2012. The theme of the event is “SOA and Cloud: Reconciling Governance and Agility.” Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) offers the flexibility and agility to create and reuse resources across departmental silos. To realize these benefits, however, requires governance of both business and technology processes and interactions. This conference will focus on the linkage between enterprise architecture, governance and SOA maturity. We will examine the benefits of governance frameworks and approaches federal agencies are pursuing to increase the maturity and efficiency of their SOA initiatives.

Learn how service-oriented and Cloud approaches are being applied to lower costs and increase agility of Information Technology (IT) across the Federal Government. Both business and technical perspectives will be shared. You’ll gain practical insights from SOA and cloud experts and real case studies in the federal government.
