This report aims to provide guidance to the federal government’s senior policy and decision makers. For the report, the TechAmerica Foundation Big Data Commission relied upon diverse expertise and perspectives, input from government representatives, and previous reports to demystify the term “big data,” describe the key business outcomes it will serve, and provide a framework for policy discussion.
